Ladies and gentlemen, hedonists — welcome to Wine Casino.
This is not a wine exam, a sommelier competition, or an evening for people who can “recognise Bordeaux at first sight.”
Wine Casino is an interactive blind tasting where you can drink, think, take risks, make mistakes, laugh, learn something new — and occasionally discover that you know much more about wine than you thought. Or much less, that works too.
You’ll play around our custom-designed Wine Casino table, placing your bets on grape varieties, countries, styles, vintages, price levels and other clues. In each round, our wine croupier serves one wine blind and gradually gives you hints — explaining what to notice in the aroma, flavour and texture, and how different wines and styles are made.
This edition is dedicated to still wine and includes 3 blind tasting rounds, with appetizers from the Oecumene kitchen served throughout the game.
No previous wine knowledge is required. Really. Just curiosity, attention and a willingness to take a few beautiful risks.
